We have tried to drop this old standby, but the folk who like it, love it. We have made a few small changes along the way-- widened the neck and the shoulders, to increase the ease of exit; shortened the body to protect the person climbing the stairs. Still, it remains the at-home wear that lets you go to the door without apology.
